Coronavirus (COVID-19) - Advice

We know that during the current serious situation that many of our customers and colleagues feel uncertain about what to do and how to protect themselves and others. Our team of drivers, engineers, customer service and office staff are working hard to continue to provide a high level of service for you under ever changing circumstances.

The current advice from the NHS and the Government is that most people can continue with their day to day lives, including travelling on public transport. We’d like to reiterate this advice because we want to be able to continue providing services, moving people around and helping everyone to continue to get about be it for work, leisure or education.

We monitor our cleaning regimes for our vehicles, and we are continuing to enhance the measures we have in place in response to the developing situation with more regular cleaning of the main customer and employee touch-points such as cash trays, cabs, hand poles and grab rails.

Government and public health advice continues to be that the most effective measure that people can take to protect themselves and others from the virus is to regularly wash their hands for 20 seconds with soap and water, or use a hand sanitiser gel if soap and water isn’t available and to cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze.

Please be assured that our dedicated teams are working hard to protect both our customers and colleagues.
