We offer a range of tickets on the bus whether you are travelling alone or as a group. You can pay on bus using cash, contactless, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Singles

Standard single tickets can be purchased from the driver at any time for any journey on one bus, with child singles also available at reduced rates.

Adults pay a £2.50 flat fare for any journey within Warrington and young people under the age of 16 pay just £1.50 for any journey within Warrington (not including school buses). Single journeys within other areas may be subject to local fare capping schemes.

Journeys to/from Warrington to other areas are a £3.00 flat fare for adults and no more than £3.00 for young people.

The Bus Club

Young people under 21 can take advantage of a cheaper £1.50 single fare within Warrington by joining the Bus Club for just £5/year.

Simply purchase the Bus Club Age Verification Ticket from our Touch & Go app (proof of age required to activate). You will need to purchase and activate this before you board the bus. 

Once the ticket is active, simply scan this on the ticket machine when you board. The driver can then sell you a £1.50 single ticket.

Day Tickets

We offer a range of day tickets that can be bought on bus or our mobile app and are valid for unlimited travel on the network on the day of issue. Fares are as follows:

They give unlimited travel on services 16, 16A, 20 and 21 on the day of issue and for the following six days.

Priced at £14.00

Westy Way (Valid on services 1, 2, 11 & 12)

Regular travellers on services 1, 2, 11 & 12 can save money with a Westy Way ticket.

They give unlimited travel on services 1, 2, 11 & 12 on the day of issue and for the following six days.

Buy them on the bus or mobile app, it couldn't be easier.

Dogs 

Dogs, on a lead, may be carried provided that they do not occupy a seat, do not cause inconvenience to other passengers and that there is sufficient room for them.

The charge is 50p per single journey.  Guide dogs and 'hearing' dogs are carried free.

Warrington's Own Buses reserve the right not to carry any dog.
